Old Business:
Considering combining our November fly-in with the skydive people (Drop Zone) from PA - Doug Floyd
the hospitality people could be an advocate to get this pushed in through the county administrators
Reach out to local business to invite them to become members or at least to know we exist
Fly-in on October 29th or November 5 depending on Drop Zone people's availability
Doug talking to the airport for acceptability.
Discussed teaming with the radio station to run a live broadcast from the fly in
Ron will contact his radio contact about live broadcast - he'll also talk to Blacks Tire about what they did for their car show.

Main Discussion:
Oshkosh - over 600k visitors (the first event had ~100 visitors and 20 aircraft visit)
The dead stick landing of the Nanchang - video from in-cockpit and ground footage
Discussed the CASA C212-200 co-pilot suicide and mental health concerns
Discussed maintenance and emergency action/procedures
Discussed the rocker shaft support failure on the Lycoming engine (head casting sheared off)
Tech Talk:
Some Tempest spark plugs coming loose in service (4 in the last month) both coming out of the head and the lead backing off - one plug actually ended up laying on the runway.
